Old Habits Die Hard
Last weekend, someone asked me for my number in a bar. I didn't really talk to him much, but my friends said he was nice, so I ended up sending him a text message and, lo and behold, he remembered me and wanted to go out. We went out on Saturday. Had dinner, and I had one or two too many beers. No problem, really, I wasn't driving, and he wasn't drunk. But I was. And that makes me lose a little of the filter and say what's on my mind. Now, none of what was on my mind was bad, negative, or even stupid. It was just conversation. But, given that I don't remember all of the details, I am thinking it was enough to scare him away. Forever. And he seemed like a nice one. Sigh.

Can you call him? or email or something? Maybe it's not as bad as you think.
