Today, I spent about an hour at the library, browsing through all of their knitting books. I ended up with 2 - one that is devoted to patterns for leftover yarn! Yay! It turns out that all of the non-baby pattern knitting books are on the bottom 2 shelves, and in my current condition, bending is sort of uncomfortable. So I reverted to the old method of hanging out at the library - sitting on the floor. I can't remember the last time I did that, but goodness knows I've spent countless hours sitting on the floor in an aisle, reading. Like, my entire childhood.
Hopefully I can keep up this hobby, and actually continue knitting. It's much more fun, and easier, to buy yarn and look at pretty finished products, but the satisfaction of actually knitting something and showing it off is pretty fun too.
Before the sun went down, I drove really fast to Paxton and saw the sunset all the way there. Here's a picture on the way to Moore State Park.
And here's one from the parking lot. The colors were better in person, but it's still pretty.
